As your "Auroglow" unpacking, immediately I noticed the difference: The DIY device resembles a dollhouse furnishings, it was powered by three AAA cells. The "Auroglow" is powered by 4 D-size batteries. He is very bright and looks very professional. Minus point: The thread (cover / housing) is very stiff. An on / off switch would be desirable.
