I also had, like so many have already posted here, some problems when teaching my old remote control. I use the universal remote controls for home-entry garage. Actually, the programming is very easy: simply key A and B simultaneously until the LED flashes quickly => all the old codes are cleared and flashes briefly when you press more on a button. Is learned Now hold down any button while the "master" key pressed until the code (again, it is evidence that the LED flashes quickly). Now it should work. Indeed, but for me it does not. Although it was a code programmed (recognizable because the LED remains active if you stay on the button on it) but I did not succeed so to open the garage door. I've only believed'm probably a code change system and will have to return the remote control. But have then played around a bit and "teach" after the third I had a code on it that I could relearning with my garage door (!!!). Obviously it was not the code but to the original sender had a, which can be understood by Garantentor. I think the problem when teaching is mainly that of the beginning or end of the code is not recognized correctly (at least that's the only thing that seems to me logical). The second key (have two ordered) Relearning and then mutually to program the button B with the same code then worked right away. From my visit, despite the initial difficulties the full score as: 1. much cheaper than the original sender 2. is much better in the hand is slightly smaller and more stable 3. the knock-out criterion for the original sender: the opening button of the original transmitter can be operated much too light and faces. Did the transmitter on a keychain in your pocket and because the gate was accidentally permanently times on or. When sold here Universal Transmitter can be pushed a protective cap over it - although sometimes slipped, but the buttons are still placed so that it previously was no accidental opening / closing more. Bit fiddly I imagine if you really want to set a number of codes, since one always only ever all codes can delete out simultaneously. Here you would need then probably in any case two remote controls: one for learning the code (with several attempts) and a second in which one can transfer the functioning codes then. Finally, the whole thing in the other direction and you're done.
