Unfortunately, the sound judges (with an asterisk) even laudably 2 customers. Because the sound is not important at all? I understand absolutely not, that no one else says something about it.
Therefore, even a (rare here) sound judgment:
So on a high-end system with 1.12m high speakers can I (with an asterisk) followed by the two judges in about, but do not see it so dramatic. The bass was too loud to big boxes, so their judgment.
Whether one at the two very quiet and peaceful songs Amazing Grace and Greensleeve (not on every version available) needs to go with the bass so in the full, I do not know :-))) It's dramatic, but I like it.
For "to France" and "Moonlight Shadow" (not available on all versions) but it is then passed with funny. Since the bass flapping violently. That's MMN. eindeudig poorly coordinated. A thick slap was there due to the producer. Has nothing to do with the fact that this would be too loud, no, he flutters and is not clean.
The remaining songs the bass is actually so fine. At least from my side.
In quiet passages you hear often noise. That had not been over 20 years ago. That should go even better today. Even a slap for the mixer! But since it is only short, I think it's not that bad.
Ambience and location are often good, but in eg Indilas MiniWorld CD partly a number better.
Sonically good overall, although 2 exceptions (vergeigt Bass) the overall picture rather murky and in 2 shots, it is a matter of taste whether you need so as to go to the full, as described.
You can also sound really fat falling on the nose. A remastered version of Alphaville or an older CD of Avril Lavigne I can not so quickly removed from the CD player, as I wanted to. Then you could get the idea to throw the CD along with CD player from the closed window. So as bad as the ones both candidates assess this, I do not see it. Since there are much worse.
For music itself can be said that this is not only mainstream, although some songs at least the older ones among us probably know very well.
Other songs are just too mainstream specifically, just Folklore from Brittany, if I have understood correctly. The gällische language (if it was that), however, do not like. Sounds very silly as a Scandinavian language. Fortunately, there are still plenty of songs in English and French. At least on my version with 20 songs.
Would give 3-4 stars for the entire work. Find that Mike Oldfield titles do not belong there. Or was there actually in Brittany? If there was this actually there, they are still not on the CD, because the bass is messed :-)))
