After much deliberation, I have decided for the Ovation 2; without having the system previously seen or heard. I know only the Ovation 1 and that has me very committed. With the race were Boston (550) and the new mini system from Bose (750). But now that I have the 2 for three weeks Ovation in use, I do not regret the purchase. The build quality is fantastic, the design I find succeeded and the sound is fantastic. I hear almost exclusively classical and use the Ovation in a house abroad. The sound difference of Ovation to Boston or Bose is not so large that the immense but price differences would justify. Therefore, so kudos to Grundig. Radio reception is first class - only the small, supplied wire antenna. The only criticism concerns the remote control. It is constructed senseless, shapeless, difficult to operate and does not correspond with their unspeakable cone shape the edgy, clear contours of Ovation.
