This is not a cookbook but should miss any kitchen. Quality book, the pages are filled with very clear and sharp pictures of many ingredients that go through our tables preparations. By ingredient there is the name, photo, description taste, preparation tips, conservation, ... and sometimes a recipe. There is a recipe page. the recipes are basic, do not you atendez cullinaire a revolution, they take up very little space but are very efficiace (mushroom soup, figs with honey, ...)
I found exactly what I needed: a book that explains how to take care of my ingredients at best. Nothing is missing.
Caution, do not forget that this book is an Anglo-Saxon book, sometimes it will bring a few names of ingredients or of chouilla jaron and all our products are not French. But apart from that, this book is great!
