In principle, most Skechers are all very light and comfortable, but here are again a special class, extra-super-mega-soft and easy, even the sole. Inzw. they are my favorite shoes in the house and pull them occasionally for short trips in the city or for shopping at, sometimes even to the office. So rather ingenious all-purpose shoes, if you do not just bothered because the optics with the instep-use somehow tends a little towards gymnastics slippers with thicker soles. The build quality is also impeccable, but these shoes are now times optimized for extreme ultra soft and ultra light, ie the robustness necessary to make reductions. It was also surprising that are actually much warmer than one would guess this thin fabric shoes. I used to with cold feet thick fur slippers attracted, now here and the feet are thus reheated. I understand not, but is so.
Material:
The outer fabric is not tough canvas like cheap shoes but works fine, and is inside again everywhere lined with extra fine cloth. The seams are all extremely flat and can not be felt. The use over the instep is incidentally not a rubber, as one might think, perhaps, but the same material as the rest of the shoe. Not really stretchy, but soft and very cuddly. Also at the ball and heel top everything, is no pressure or chafing by sutures.
Sole:
is super soft, out of the ordinary in running shoes cushioning material (PU?), but without the usual hard layer at the bottom. This super comfortable and super light, but not to wear. The extra padded insole has grown also in fabric and not removable.

Well, that's at Skechers bit strange: in other company's shoes are well known, with the same number greater than women's shoes. Not so with Skechers - as rather a tad are men's shoes with the same size smaller!
For other brands I need men's 41 and women's 42 (wg. Width). In Sketchers optimal reversed: H-42 or D-41!
So advice to the ladies: buys in doubt a half size smaller than usual, wide feet no problem!
For men: buys in doubt half a size smaller than usual!
In any case my experience to a dozen Skechers shoes, mostly sports shoes from the LIV series. Did even one pair of men-43, risked from Special offer reasons, the fact I'd drown in other brands, at Skechers still okay with slightly thicker socks. And in a women's shoe D-40 I recently reingepasst decades ago! In Skechers totally okay with thin summer socks, incredible.
But somehow that is a total confusion with the sizes.
A few examples from the tag in my Skecherschuhen:
* Gr. 42, 27 cm, UK 8, US 9 (LIV fitness running shoes / men) outside 29 cm
* Gr. 42, 26.5cm, UK 7.5, US 8.5 (Go Walk Superlight shoes / Men) Outdoor 27.5 cm
* Gr. 40, 27 cm, UK 7, US 10 (LIV-Ballerinas / Women) outside 28 cm
==> Size D-40 and H-42 allegedly the same interior length, and D-40 rather longer ?!
Anyway, these 3 pairs of all fit the same to me, like a glove - probably are indeed the only reliable indication cm?
Others:
Probably also good senior shoes in the home, because on the one hand, the running order is a pleasure and also because dementia can not lose accidentally, thanks to lightness and perfect, cuddly fit. The heel is spherical and is located such as glued. The tiny disadvantage of this is however that you simply can not slip in so but must help out and pull the shoe with a finger just above the heel. Just a sec, no problem, the extra space provided finger hole in the heel is really handy, but you have to do maintenance.
