I have two new Dell Venue 8 Pro tablets for children acquired. Since this does not always deal especially careful with such technical devices, a sensible shell is doubly important.
Although the IVSO Slim Smart Cover Style Leather Case is made of leather, but fulfilled accurately and practically its purpose. The tray fits like a glove in the rounded plastic frame of the cover. All connections and switches are prima recessed and easy to reach.
Practically, the lid is automatically closed with a magnetic closure. On the inside of this cover, however, is to a metal clip that can possibly touch the screen. Some worry that this could be caused scratches on the screen. The concern I have not. Our tablets are used in the home environment and are not "Reisestrapatzen" etc. exposed, the clip should be able to do no harm.
Also convenient is that the lid of the cover can be used simultaneously as a stand. For this he needs to be folded only to the pre-long grooves and placed behind the tablet.
From the chemical smell, which is often criticized, I could not find anything. Of course, it is not a very high quality casing made of natural materials, but plastic and artificial leather. But I am happy with the price-performance ratio and the IVSO Slim Smart Cover would buy again.
