I've bought this open housing because I really wanted to connect an additional microphone. After the first tests the money for the additional microphone was superfluous invested because the sound quality with the GoPro Micro is absolutely sufficient. I love this case and took the original housing for underwater shooting, for example, whale sharks stroke in the Philippines. Everything else I've filmed with the open housing. One star deduction for the price of pigs for as a little sculpture ....
