After a motherboard failure requiring change a computer, this case allowed me to recover the hard drive and all its data. Then, it becomes an interesting backup means which can be transported from one computer to another.
Warning, it remains a backup tool. It is certainly not made to stay on steady and the USB connection is obviously less efficient than a direct SATA connection 2.
Otherwise, it is aesthetic and does not occupy much space on a desk.
