After I had been operated my Raspy with a 08/15 standard power supply (5V / 1A) and was wondering about constant unexplained crashes and drop outs I went the matter even to the bottom: The Raspberry alone consumes 700 mA, the GPIO (communication port) 300mA ... so that my standard power supply was exhausted. But since I have still connected via USB Mice & Keyboards and wireless dongle and now and then USB sticks has become clear to me where the problems came from: Insufficient power. I have the HNP10I-MicroUSB indeed ordered from another electronic shipping (more expensive as I realize now :-(), but want to share my recommendation here with you: At last the system is running perfectly, the power supply has sufficient power and is absolutely super processed one recognizes that this is no cheap scrap to a quality product &. device hardly heats up during operation and whenever I take my Raspy with traveling I can do it thanks to the included clips everywhere use in the world. Absolute buy recommendation !! !
