To put it in a nutshell: I am completely satisfied with this cover! Would buy again at any time.
I've just 4 Cases / Sleeves ordered for comparison because it "are few experiences bags for 12.5 notebooks. Here this shell shone directly by its simple but elegant design. Most importantly, conveys the be.ez LA robe a very robust sense of what was missing in the other sleeves. While the other cases were more likely to "wobbly" and were probably designed to to prevent scratches, marks the be.ez LA robe by its strength, although at the same time not occupies more space as the other cases. In my opinion, the notebook would in this case readily survive a fall from 1 meter height! (In this respect I have experience but no ... ^^)
The X220 fits perfectly into this shell. You have to press a little from one side, because the X220 does not have the thickness of Ultrabooks. Turning the X220 but it slips almost into the shell (no idea why the difference exists). Sit tight it does in both cases.
The only negative point in connection with this case is that like to dissolve the rubber pads on the bottom of the notebook even when pushing in. However, this occurs only when intercalates the X220 of the "narrow" side. In addition, this is probably more of a quality issue as a problem of the Thinkpads be.ez LA robe.
In summary:
- The X220 fits perfectly into the shell
- The shell is very robust and shock-resistant
- The envelope is a space-saving
Buy recommendation for all X220 owners :)
