Because of the good reviews I switched from my Sony clock radio with sounds of nature on these analog Seiko. I knew not that there are now analogue alarm clocks that can alternatively awaken with birdsong instead of a beep. At this clock everything is just right: + Good size (not too small, not too huge) and even quite stable (for security is the alarm clock on a foam rubber mouse pad, the brake at the same time and would catch him if he falls over) + Easy to read time (Lumibrite coated luminous hands, the light store), this can be a button light switch (In the dark you can indeed recognize the time by the lamp about, but I turn also the bedside lamp a.) + Noise (second hand is "running" and not to hear when the alarm is not held to the ear) + Very easy and fast set (much better than the complicated menus and buttons of many digital alarm clock!) By slider or the usual tommy bar (time / alarm) + 3 sounds you can choose, even real clips (you can hear the jingle bells when shaking the device!): a) not annoying buzzer beep b) very loud, genuine, classic bell jingles like old phones or alarm clocks ears . c) natural sounding birdsong including cuckoo call with Bach rippling in the background - a bit noisy, but still pleasant (and I am very sensitive)! All alarm tones you can listen to before choosing to rest + Snooze interval of 5 minutes (optimal break length in my view) -. You can about 45 minutes repeatedly press Snooze (after he awakens not again) + Good to be taken large button for light on and trigger the snooze snooze + Acoustic confirmation when you turn the alarm on lateral slide (the selected alarm tone is played briefly) I'm excited! After a long search I have arrived at the right alarm clock. I had previously been a very good Seiko analog clock, but it had a horrible, way too loud beep. The Seiko has indeed made a fortune in this model much better :-) Unconditional recommendation from me!
