The "clip" connection is solid and practical, the cables are properly arranged. The cables are gray and correspond exactly to the photo. I use two of these cables (about 3 ordered) to connect a laptop and a HTPC. Perfect for internet box 100 Mb. Maximum flow found: ~ 12 MB / s, or 12 * 8 = 96 Mb / s ... :-) (highly gigabit!)
