- Sound design: a small white lacquered plastic pad with a raised pattern. The record is not enough class and the cheap side you can find on other models. The connector is assembled on the front side. On the sides there are 4 LEDs on the right and left button on / off.
- Connectivity: The Prism comes with two USB cables / microUSB (a 20cm and 60cm) and 2 adapters (one for Samsung devices and iPhone). Why two cables? Because this battery has 2 outputs usable simultaneously: yes, you can charge 2 devices simultaneously! These 2 outputs have also each have a different maximum intensity, faster to load some equipment.
- Charge indicator: something that is clearly lacking on other devices of the same type. Here are found on the small side 4 blue LEDs, which light up when the device is charging or being charged. They indicate the energy available in the battery, which allows to make arrangements when approaching the last LED (go to recharge, or limit the conso the most important)
- Capacity: this battery shows a theoretical capacity of 12,000 mAh. A smartphone usually has about 2000 mAh battery, so you can comfortably load 3 or 4 times or even a little more. There will of course always has a bit of loss (in the cables by heat generation ...), but in my case I was able to recharge my Acer Liquid 4 times Z5 before having to recharge the Prism. Obvious counterpart of this mega-capacity: the object is bulkier and heavier than other more discrete batteries but offers only one phone recharge cycle.
Conclusion: a very good high capacity external battery with a charge indicator very welcome, and what connect a multitude of devices.
Tested with: Acer Liquid Z5, Acer Liquid E 2 Duo, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, Nickelodeon tablet.
