The battery pack fits neatly into the mouse and it puts you just a. It is of a similar, siblernem plastic as the bottom of the mouse. The original battery cover, although then again in aluminum, but the reason I've never really understood anyway, probably had more of a technical nature, the plastic makes more sense for me at the bottom. The mouse is a lot easier than with the batteries which I feel very comfortable with the battery pack. You can also load the battery pack without which it is installed in the mouse. On delivery it was completely empty, I got it down for about 5 minutes to the induction charger and continue to operate as long as the mouse with batteries, test for between I then the Pack already installed because I finally wanted to try it out and was really surprised that I was able to work for about 3 hours, although there was only so loaded shortly.
I'm currently really heavy users because I am working on a thesis for which I must mainly use CAD software and already was the battery so test well, when fully charged, the mouse with the battery pack holds far more than 24 hours of continuous use, even if I sometimes I forgot the mouse on the charger to make it is therefore not become empty the next day, it is me simply never become empty. The problem with constant battery change takes one station so really completely off.
For design I want to say that to make the station very well on the foot of a display, but it is not exactly inconspicuous and you see them very clearly. From the looks of it adapts very accurately in a Mac environment, the materiality and the dimensions are deliberately tailored to the Apple unibody design.
The only blunder of personally displeases me somewhat is the blue LED. Is just my personal opinion, but in logic would this actually be green when charging (as with the Apple chargers, the Time Capsule in the normal mode, etc.). Or at least then yellow (like the Magic Mouse, Time Capsule without connection etc.), but just blue? One can find in any Apple product has a blue LED and I find this quite terrible, a few years ago so many hardware manufacturers have started doing of green and yellow LEDs to change to the blue and I was always glad that Apple has refrained. Blue light has a very unpleasant spectrum to the human eye, blue neon lights facing us, for example, even as blurred, so they are used not in the sign industry. They are also by far the most expensive LEDs, I've never understood why you should install Blue LED somewhere in all the disadvantages. But well, that's just only my opinion and just a design factor for the company Artwizz will certainly have their ground. The recess of the LED is also square, something that is unusual for the unibody design where each edge is basically rounded and everything backlit parts are around, then this is probably just the specific nature of ARTWIZZ designs, it's just not a product of the hands of Jonathan Ive. I personally would like but better a round green LED. But more can be just argue;)
Otherwise, I am from the station really convinced me it is a logical complement to the entire Bluetooth cordless system, the keyboard is a great place to tuck under a MacBook stand and it has its place, the mouse heard now on the charger the display foot and everything is cleared up and clean you can use the desk area in front of the display agreeable. Before that, the mouse was just always around somewhere if I had not infected the computer and did not have a proper place. The annoying battery change so of course also falls away, although I could not realize that you have to change a Magic Mouse battery more often than with other Bluetooth devices, but you know what I mean, that's to be empty is not the problem, rather the one batteries easy does not want to change because you shake you prefer a little more or then exchange them with the half-full of a remote control for switching to postpone as long as possible. Batteries are simply something very unpleasant in my opinion and a solution with a battery is much smoother.
Clear are all pure luxury problems, but as a 80 mouse is placed in front out of the product takes no more so eh start;)
A taxi driver one seems indeed no golf, even if it is always argued by the drivers that will naturally explains the decision to a Mercedes just because of the good life of the engine in such intensive use, ultimately has a golf now also a very good engine, but the driver spends up his whole day in this vehicle and as a Mercedes interior is far more pleasant and more than adequate. If you have to spend a lot of time professionally with the computer, then you should just also indulge in the luxury of such an expensive mouse such a station I find. Is still cheaper than a Mercedes;) But of course, everybody has to decide for himself.
For me, anyway, a very strong buy recommendation, I would like to this charging station no longer have to do without hesitation and would buy again at any time.
