I purchased 2 days ago here at Amazon, the device (shipping took 4 days ago, since only available through Market Place). When I then my PC (Win 7) have connected to the TV (via adapter) via RCA I was shocked. It has been recognized nothing, however, has placed it after adjusting the resolution largely. It was still a bit blurry. [About an S-video cable, the picture would have been certainly better but I have found no longer mine.] Now I have played through the Media Center a TV recording and the image was perfect, it was sharp and very accurately. The same could be said about displaying the cover flow and the track list in iTunes that was sharp, though everything else in the Windows 7 interface was a bit blurry (Although I am not really a PC layman but maybe I have something set incorrectly.) ,
The converter seems only multimedia content and PowerPoint presentations to "like" because it indicates this sharp, but the rest is out of focus.
Otherwise, the settings on the OSD are very extensive and satisfy your every need (you can even adjust the frequency).
For those who want to display only videos on the TV, it is worthwhile in any case. For those who want to use the TV-tube with the converter as a PC monitor replacement, the device is not recommended.
