Compared to SSD's or high-rotating HDD's the speed of the WD can be described as "cozy". For the office computer the subjective speed is sufficient absolutely. All programs start quickly enough and hits hinder the work in any way.
Much more surprising to me was the volume of the plate. Because this is practically inaudible. Even the access to perceive sounds with open PC, you have to focus. You get it with, but at a level where it is not relevant to most. Compared to the use of me before SpinPoint models (F2-F4) is the WD an absolute Leisetreter.
Pro:
- Price-Performance
- Volume
Cons:
- Speed
Conclusion:
After shoring and the use of the PC, I have found for me that I made the right decision for the Office & Surf PC. Even as "data grave" in a quiet PC with primary SSD makes this board perfect sense.
I can absolutely recommend this board for the said purposes.
