Sure, it is possible also subsequently adjust the white balance via software. This is especially true for captured in RAW format images. However, I already prefer when recording to set a proper color temperature. This works very comfortably and easily with the ExpoDisc. Just before the lens clamped / supported and capture an image of the light source ..... finished. Since this diffuser plate is calibrated to 18% gray, it can also be used as excellent light meter.
The main difference from the previous version is that now color filter discs are provided, which allows a vote toward warmer (beneficial for skin tones). Previously you had to buy another ExpoDisc for Portrait in addition.
So if you already want to achieve correct color balance when shooting is well equipped with this accessory. From me a 100% recommendation.
