I offered the Wii U to my grandchildren (6-8 years); That's perfect. The console connects easily; just follow the instructions. The game is included in the WII. It is played with the Wii U console, included in the pack. All connection are included son, ditto for the "door console '. My grandchildren son were immediately loved the game. They are autonomous. Parents have quickly played with them .... and me too !. So for the age they will say ..... 6 to years. We bought a Wii U controller to play two; and a third controller to play three simultaneously. It is a happiness this console. The image is beautiful, the graphics are gorgeous.
