Installation:
Very simple and very intuitive: Just connect the box to the Internet, and follow the automatic installation. Several updates are required before the latest firmware 2014.
If we lose Internet connections simply restart the player and sometimes the network itself.
1st black dot: The drive is marked as compatible with a WD Caviar Green 4TB, I can confirm that this is not the case after multiple manipulations and two days of readings on Popcorn Hour forum. I'll buy a Seagate tonight ST400M000 is recommended with this product.
I am not yet examined the network connections (ability to download computer file via FTP), and to handle the PCH with a tablet or laptop, it will install Android software.
Use:
Very intuitive, it allows viewing the file via a browser, download information, subtitles, rename the file, and even delete duplicates!
The integrated jukebox (NMJ) allows the directory FILING and display a user-friendly menu with Covers and resume. The downloaded jackets no longer require internet connection.
The reader keeps reading interruptions in memory to return when opening the file, handles jumps in the navigation time, and you can also manually define a sequence to repeat.
Using the remote control tablet falls to me most of the gadget as it takes a latency of a second, which is short but can be annoying in the long run.
Reading:
No worries, perfect fluidity with decoding capability of almost all video files on the disk. The sound was excellent rendering, and shifting its problems / images recorded on the other drives are corrected.
In short, I am much questioned before this purchase, but put 250 into a drive that will last in time is not a bad deal compared to other players within 200 which made me hard now 2-3 years, but did not satisfy me completely.
