Hello community, happy I have read your experience with the H7 bulbs from Philips and would now like my "mustard" to give. I have already bought my first set of Xtreme Power pears the end of 2008. Was absolutely surprised at the light output. Unfortunately, that has slipped the euphoria after less than 6 months in a nuisance. Already a bulb was blown. I have contacted out Philips and expressed my displeasure. I must say, the customer service is top; the editor has immediately taken up my data, called me the link for a mailing label in free postage and asked me to send in the bulbs. After about 2 weeks a package was a new set Xtrem pears in my mailbox. Because a vehicle changes decency, these bulbs were installed approximately in September 2009. What can I say, now, in January a bulb is already blown. So the same game with the customer service of Philips again triggered and sent the pears. Let's see what happens this time.
As can be read in various forums, to the obtained brightness suggests significantly down on the service life. I once counted roughly and come with this set to a burning time of approx 250 hours !!! Indicated a lifetime of 2000 hours.
I would be pleased, even to hear responses from you whether the problem is a particular case with me or is the durability to be a problem.
