Positives:
- Ampilight (that was the purchase criterion)
- Decent picture
- Elegant look
Negatives:
- Zapping takes a long time
- No meaningful program dialing grid (station logos make the switching slow, probably because the processor does not comply)
- Remote reacts sometimes not (yes, I think towards TV)
- Remote unwieldy battery compartment have sharp edges
- How does HBTV out permanently?

In short, buy the TV not spontaneous, like us, but testing the menu navigation and handling of the remote control in the store and see if it is your demands.
We hope for a meaningful software update. Send logo when switching etc. are nice, if the handling does not suffer. Our LG in the bedroom barely afford weaknesses, the software is visually simple, but easy to operate because quick and thoughtful. So this Philips is a bad design, it is neither quick nor thought. Why, for example, the D-pad in normal operation not occupied? Right / Left for changing channels and up / down for volume and the center button as "the last transmitter zap" would be handy as handy.
