I had an advance case of the same type for my external SSD (120GB verbatim), but usb2 I say it was time to move to the usb3. usb3 the supplied cable is ridiculously hard and it took weeks before he takes up. I did not want to box that uses the microphone jack usb3 especially that everyone complains of bad contacts quickly enough. Cote connection has no problem report it is a normal usb, robust and efficient. The real problem and that is important is that the map component that manages the USB heated very quickly and very strong, at least with my ssd logged. suddenly when you start the transfer flow is top, and everything stops, the component overheating and the box is disconnected. I modified my case and I added a copper radiator on the responsible component and brought into contact with the aluminum of the case. Copper is hot or very warm for an exchange but the case no longer disconnects. I do not know if it's because it's an ssd or if it lacks a sink on the component or if it's just poorly designed.
Anyway if your kidding you will know that this is a pb of heat.
Otherwise changed once I tease 120MB / s read and 90MB / s writing. I am limited by the SSD which is a first prize.
