Rosalba (Licia Maglietta) is found at the end of a journey not with their families back home, but "by chance" in the beautiful Venice. Rosalba like it there, and she decides to stay for a while there. Lucky you further hold, and she finds shelter in the house of the waiter Fernando (Bruno Ganz) who treats you with the courtesy of a butler. Really completely is the new home of the neighbor who offers "special" massages. Fortuna leads Rosalba a florist whose odd-extreme owner offered her a job, so they now also has the financial resources to make it a little longer in Venice cozy. Meanwhile, the family of Rosalba home is restless. Since Rosalba conceals them her whereabouts, her husband engaged a private detective, and now it really gets going. Longing, romance, poetry, a lot of humor, the magic of fate, adventure ... Soooo heartbreaking ... Fernando wants to meet his roommate Rosalba actually get rid of as soon as possible. He wants to kill himself and is completely accommodated by the life-energy with which it fills the apartment messed up. Soooo funny! The private detective is the type Muttersoehnchen, but inwardly he rebelled long ago. The trip to Venice is for him an opportunity to escape from his mother. Inside our hearts we know that this private investigator is not evil, and so we closely watch what widerfaehrt him and hope for the best. But the private detective is not the only one who is changing. Rosalba is weak, Fernando is strong, the masseuse falls in love, and so on ... 5 Stars ... This small, Italian film comes out without hassle and without clichés. It is a plea for life and love. Each character is an original, and all performers have their roles to a part of our lives are. - We laugh and laugh with our hearts. This is my favorite movie of 2001. It is a pity that there is no longer this film on DVD.
