I found her quite soothing reading, and I often enjoyed the skill of its author, who shows us directions without us impose. Overall the outcome of the stories is guessed easily enough, but they are told in a pleasant way, even with a few touches of humor. Everyone will find probably the middle of the collection one or two passes that will affect most personally.
As for the language level, it seemed very accessible. The sentences are fluid and vocabulary did not bother me (I learned some words or reviewed the way). Note that I learning Spanish only for about a year, using a method and a few websites.
Finally, the included CD brings a little more, but is only a selection of 8 of the 27 stories in this book. Beware if you want to use it to get used to hearing Spanish, because the author and narrator Jorge Bucay is Argentine, and I think his pronunciation is different from what you can hear in the territory Spanish.
