For 80 years a very progressive film that just do not like Lethe 1974 claiming women reduced to "hardcore lesbian" or "men disappointed Heten". Certainly the plot could be more defined, but this shortcoming is like Desert Hearts with its charming 80's image management and the 60s setting again. What DH is certainly to be counted up, is the authenticity with which the film both the confidence Cays and the inner conflict Vivienne describes what is cliché-less pleasant even in the, reflecting tender love scene. Certainly no gefaketes glossy movies for lovers High budget / inside, but that's why a watchable classics. And, just when you look at the history of the 'women's movement' or even the 'lesbian emancipation', a very interesting for the time and surprisingly open milieu study.
