My experience with this style bulb:
- Between 6W and 8W bulbs are ideal for a room with a preference for warm light
- For my kitchen I use a 12W warm light
- For my office a 10W warm light
- The living room 8W warm light whatever I had already installed a hot 10W
- For a corridor, a cellar, garage or bathroom 10W or 12W white light are ideal because they give insight equivalent to daylight!
LEDs are expected to consume less energy than compact fluorescent, to check a simple test enough, after a few hours of use simply touch them:
- With a compact fluorescent is an insured burn
- An LED bulb is at room temperature, demonstrating that little energy was used.
The longevity of the bulbs remains a difficult point to evaluate so we have to rely on testing of manufacturers and consumer associations!
The real is less well on a fairly high purchase price but there are often promotions on the site so that we can equip cheaply
