Pleasant sound packed compactly

I have the Magnat speakers now been a few days and am fully satisfied. I chose for this speaker, after I had been looking for a long time for a suitable extension for my flat-panel televisions. I can say that it was not easy to find speakers that met my requirements. Since I have very little space in my apartment, I was looking for a stereo system that takes as little space. So an independent 2.1 system because fullspectrum Lautpsrecher had taken away with Reciever clearly too much space. But unfortunately I had to realize that there really compact systems with remote control rather rare. Most are only available in conjunction with DVD or Blueray player or well above my budget. Long story short: I finally found this system and although the price of just under 300 actually slightly above my budget, I bought it without further ado and was not disappointed.

When unpacking it went off well directly. The components were neatly packed, so that the high-gloss surfaces could not scratch and what stood out immediately was the pleasantly heavy weight of the satellite. Everything is high quality finish (at least from the outside. It looks like inside, I can not judge). The bottom of the receiver for the remote commander and the RCU are rubberised in order to prevent slippage. However, the remote is otherwise a typical mass product and does not make too much joy. But it works (distance with me to the receiver: ca. 2 m), What is very handy is that the receiver is not integrated in the subwoofer, but is connected separately and has a neat long cable (I think there are 2m). So you could hide the subwoofer somewhere quiet and still serve him because Receiver and Remote absolutely need visual contact. The scope of supply were taking the subwoofer, the 2 Satellieten, remote control incl. Button cell battery, the receiver and the manual also 2 2-wire speaker cable (length each 2m) and an RCA cable with gold-plated contacts for connection to the source. Unfortunately I could not do much with me and had yet to buy an optical cable. Cabling That went as expected and simply you're able.

The sound convinced me immediately. I had read in advance that the subwoofer should have a very nice thud, but honestly I've turned him not very far, because there is the whole too much bass, then the voices sound natural no longer normal. If one has its desired bass intensity found (bass can be controlled separately from the volume using the remote control) concerns my opinion, but a very pleasant and natural sound, with the subwoofer in explosions example but tidy makes steam and without drone that. But I must say that I've never used more expensive systems and I consider myself not just as a hi-fi experts. Anyway, I can say that movies and television to me now really fun (room size less than 15 m²). Incidentally sees the whole still very chic with its simple, black design.

If I had anything to complain about, then the volume control From the remote control is possible. On subwoofer itself is only the main switch. If so once the remote control go wrong, you have quite a problem.
In addition, 300 are not necessarily a bargain. Maybe Receiver and Speaker would there even be worth more, but as I said: If you do not have the space to do with the Magnat speakers definitely nothing wrong.
