I bought the converter to HDMI input to operate an existing projector with "older" laptops which no HDMI output, but only a 10-pin VGA connector. possess.
The converter makes a solid, massive impression. A VGA adapter cable is included 10cm long to connect the converter to the PC. But you can plug directly into the socket. The power supply for the converter is via the supplied USB cable. So no power adapter required.
Only the manual is in English only, but that part is self-explanatory.
I have the converter connected to the PC and the projector, two devices are turned and the image was immediately seen properly and sharp on the projector screen.
Just buy it, very good value for money.
