Addendum:
Unfortunately, it does not sit so well, as initially thought. I use the cable to feed the headphone output of a MacBook Pro in an audio device. Somehow the sound was not clean in the stereo image separately and centrally he was not well. I then thought of a problem with my audio setup, the Mixer, or a poor quality of the audio output on the MacBook.
After some tests, however, then I noticed quickly: The 3.5mm jack is not properly MacBook Pro. Apparently she is not deep enough into the socket, so that the contacts do not sit cleanly. Wobbles / Subtracting minimal (!) On the cable, the plug slips barely visible out the fraction of a millimeter and the sound is completely gone.
My headphones with 3.5 mm jack fit snugly right in the MacBook Pro and click into place. The connector of this cable not.
I can not judge whether or not the connector is running short if the socket is too deep in the notebook, whether at this Kabele a production error (ie individual cases) is because I have no comparison and the problem was lack of time analyzing too late now, remains probably only me, another cable to buy and try.
