Focusing
But what struck me was the same that the focus returns at D7000 always 99% top results, it is not at all in the P300 but the case. I was initially a little disappointed, because many images were not properly focused and have simply become blurred. After I have made myself more familiar with the camera, I was simply clear that it is mainly operational errors. I photograph mostly people and when I changed the focus accordingly on recognition is the "Committee" declined significantly.
Exposure
Here again, the camera will be guided by an understanding photographers. At first I chose Scene "Indoors", because I thought for indoor which is always a good result. not even close. The exposure is usually too long, so that blurs and streaks occur. Most of the pictures were unusable. Meanwhile I take auto iris and thus achieved the results that I had originally expected in "Indoors". Again, much to try to help the camera
understand and then the desired results are also achieved. Absolutely positive here, the light intensity and the noise performance of the camera (always in the context of sensor size)
Flash
Yes it's true, the flash must be unfolded by lever only and also makes me sometimes even the failure without flash to snap usable images. Mir is the flash a little too light in portrait photography, since I do not like so much "out flashed" images. The faces are bright, have the background and the most recognizable is the image when the viewer does not recognize right away that was flashed. Therefore, I have set the flash to -0.3, so I find are natural images.
Color
The images are photographed very lifelike without leading to change here. In my view, not too gaudy. If you like it strong like can also lend a hand here. Give one or two steps to it and even the colors are really hard but are still well balanced in the composition. But even if more bluish or reddish can still change and can be used virtually as a "filter".
Video
Have there not yet done so much, but the pictures are really not bad. But the sound is not so hot. In skiing I made a video recording, as only wind noise can be heard. Whoever dubbed and puts beautiful music about it, it is ok.
Conclusion:
Anyone looking for a camera only "pull the trigger" to should choose another model, because he is with the P300 definitely not happy (that are probably most tourists wishing here the handling of lightning fault). Great secondary camera for ambitious photographers, which limits the sensor are clearly (Can not buy a tractor and then expect in Formula 1 ride). When focusing a little "more accurate" would be I would have gladly given 5 stars, so I have to say is just a little upward potential and good 4 star.
