I am a bit disappointed that the data cable wrong driver are included.
With a little search we encounter, however, that the Prolific driver must be used in version 3.2.0.0. If necessary, then manually select the 2007 drivers in the Device Manager of Windows 7 (sounds stale ... but it works!).

Download and programming and reading out the Baofeng UV 5Rplus nothing stands in the way: Now even chirp (0.4.0 x86 in my case).

The star trigger there because the wrong driver is included. This means that Windows thinks that, the 'device' can not be started, Code 10th

A little tip on the edge: the correct driver can be found quite easily if one tries ne search engine to "Installing the Proper Driver 3.2.0.0")
