the drills:
Positives:
+ Sharp
+ Diameter is dimensionally stable
HSS +
Negatives:
- All drill down to the 8mm drills are extremely crooked crooked to.
is in my opinion to the production type of drill.
Namely, in all the drills up to the 8mm drill bit (hence the 8mm drill bit is also known as single straight) of 6-Kant shaft only a sleeve in which the drill has been inserted and then riveted to the sleeve.
In the 8mm drill, however, the 6-square shank is milled and thus the drill from one piece and accurate. So it should be in all drills but this more material would be required and would be the drill probably considerably more expensive make, but also accurate in smooth running performance.
My rating:
Man can super drill with the drills (goes in Buchholz almost like butter) but precise holes can not be expected, unfortunately. For me, the drills are therefore useless and go back.
Those looking for a low-priced wood drill bit set and may waive the hexagonal shaft, I recommend the "Makita wood drill bit set Power Wood P-73025 5-piece" for currently 15.84 (even loud Packaging made in Germany, and the drills from size 6mm are on the shaft at three points have been milled. Ideal for 3-jaw chuck).
Or just the same from the brand manufacturers' Famag 1594.805 5-Piece "for currently 26.34 (+ 5,36Versand)" drill.
Although I could not tell the difference between the Famag and Makita Power Wood drills (up to the cobalt content and the milled shaft at the Makita drills), but no long-term experience to the two sets.
