But unfortunately, some bad points:
-First Device was broken after two days (had just about plays), a HD port was suddenly a morning break. Ersatzgerat arrived but quickly.
-Works Not as promised in the advertising (October 2013) with the Sonos sound system (hard disks go to bed too fast and stops music. When latest firmware time for HD-sleep is not adjustable ..)
-Indem You can adjust some things just are not very difficult to do. Not for power users.
-Have To about 20 times with technical support, no fun with the Drobo.
-Indem The HD's are very close to each other they are slightly warm and in the summer the fan must always run what nerft something.
-fan Manchmahl audible (speed is controlled by "Smart intelligence")
Although I very very much wanted to bring the Drobo in function I have to twei months with Drobo Support failed back and forth to make it functional. Too bad. Bottom Line: I now have a Synology 1813+ and the device is much much much better in almost all respects. Have not had the service needed.
