Poor handling and unnecessary complexity

The lens hood is in contrast to the figure of two parts. On the one hand from a metal adapter is screwed into the filter thread of the lens (Canon EF 50mm 1 with me: 1.8 II) and on the other hand reaches out of the imaged plate with four claws into the metal adapter.

The metal adapter acts unusually hard and was difficult to screw in the lens.

The panel has two buttons to move the four retaining claws. Unfortunately you have to press scarlet to retract the claws and set the aperture to the adapter. As a result, the aperture is easily deformed and difficult to fit into the adapter. In short, is the attachment of the shield is a spoiled and not quick and easy.

The panel interior is rough and dull and seems trustworthy.

Overall, I think the design too complicated, leading to poor handling. As with many small parts, the price is too high.
