The device has proved to be ideal in order to connect a USB keyboard to my tablet computer via a Y-cable. The tablet computer itself provides no electricity but is otherwise OTG-compatible, therefore a power source must be connected via the Y-cable. Unfortunately this does not work my external battery since it power down when the low consumption of the keyboard after a short time itself. This device is connected exclusively by hand, so that the keyboard on the tablet is now working properly. Works just as perfectly with USB sticks.
