Powerful magnifier

I used me to place electronic components prior to welding. For those familiar with CMS including QFN housing and 0402.
for those unfamiliar, it's housings 1mm 0.5mm * 0.2mm with a positioning accuracy of about.
The loupe magnification is high enough, may be too much, it must be positioned about 10 cm from the work plan, nor otherwise everything becomes blurred. with this magnification image tends to deform the contour, and the light decay. So if the lamp is not perfectly positioned, the lamp can quickly strain the eyes. In the case of a 3 diopter lens was operating margins far superior comfort and a much better, but a lower magnification.

Otherwise beware, the lamp is quite impressive, it takes a lot of space on my desk, but I find it's place.

Worth a grease can the springs just to the place where they come out of the tubes, then you can fold and unfold the wrist as very fluid lamp and without it making noise.

I also replace the lock knob at the head by a standard nuts as I shake with a wrench. you really have to tighten the nuts hard and repeatedly.

I recommend for those who need a high magnification, for others it is better March 1 diopter. for the diameter of the lens, I not sure what difference it makes in relation to a diameter of 12.5mm lens (in terms of comfort and the real field of view)

Otherwise the construction is really well done, the rooms are well sized. just a larticulation level of the head, it could have been done better, but hey there was just tighten.
