The here offered OxyLED Motion Sensing LED Light I got a test product and have it installed in my laundry room, which has only a small window opening and thus is quite dark. The room is repeatedly entering the day and evening. By now existing sensor light from the light switch need not be always operated and saves power.
Anticipation may be mentioned that a number of information should be corrected in the product description on the part of the manufacturer. The dimensions of the lamp are nachgemessenen:
The width of the unit is 12 cm, height 7.5 cm and the depth is 4 cm. There are insert 3 and not 4 as specified AAA batteries.
The OxyLED was delivered in a small box. One instruction was not, however, apply data are in English version on the back of the small carton packaging.
The device has a solid construction and handy grip. It can be both hung or attached with an adhesive tape included. However, I have it set on a cabinet in the room in exactly matching motion. Here, the surface must be flat, however, because the lamp otherwise tilts forward.
I was puzzled, AS is to open the lamp. It took some time until I found out that the rear surface of the lamp must be pushed upward, and then the 3 batteries to be put.
A small tab on the back allows the desired setting: On means continuous light, Off and Auto is the setting for light when entering the room. The detection radius has been so in my case at least 4 feet away when the light from the lamp leapt. After leaving the room, it was extinguished, as indicated, after about 15 seconds.
The light from the lamp is yellow. It lit up as described, a 10 square meter room enough.
Overall impression:
- The processing of OxyLED is very good
- The device works exactly
- The yellow light is subtle and illuminates a space sufficient
- The light is not suitable for reading
- The terms: On / Off / Auto are unfortunately only to be read if the back panel of the device is pushed up. Here is an improvement on the part of the manufacturer is attached.
