Everything works perfectly, when functioning perfectly. Rarely aborts the WLAN connection. That should not happen on a shoot, especially not if it is commercial in nature.
A disadvantage is the size or the handling of all equipment. Sure, the CamRanger is mainly something for taking pictures with a tripod. I personally am also happy in the studio and on the road so flexible streame me and the customer's photos for viewing on the iPad or the computer.
So what to do with the CamRanger?
Is the USB cable to the camera long enough, you can let the CamRanger disappear in your pocket. Nevertheless, that disturbs the long run. I've got me a holder for the hot shoe. It looks indeed more strangely from when then the remote trigger for lightning happens, but at least dangle me anywhere around what.
So, in short. Super sub, very convenient but somewhat unwieldy. There is the star deduction. The price is perfectly fine.
