I bought the card reader, so I do not always read from the printer my SD card (my laptop was the format Always ...) As soon as I had taken him in reception (the delivery was fast) I should have him must use at my workplace. I have plugged in the card reader into the USB slot, SD card in and I was able to access everything - no problems without great driver installation etc.. On the evening of the same day, I then also tried it at home on my laptop and also here I could without problems read my SD card. Micro-SD, I have not tried yet. But I would have to if necessary also an adapter. Since the card reader is not much bigger than a USB flash drive, I have often taken him to read data with acquaintances at work or at school, which saves me from having to read the data first and then save it to a USB flash drive , I just take the card reader, the card is anyway in the mobile phone or photo.
