To pick up the thread of a recent comment, the weight of the smartphone paused horizontally engages the stop button / start on itself, but it is not a problem! The battery supplied with the base is same as that in your Galaxy Note 2. Use the charger of your Galaxy Note 2 to complete your (future) Galaxy Note 2 dock.
