I bought this mouse, because I was disturbed in my previous cable. Optical mice I'm already accustomed, so I thought that the Genius NetScroll 600 USB would behave the same way - just wireless. This is - at least in my experience - not the case. When I click on my transparent painted pinewood - moving tabletop, the mouse pointer jumps uncontrollably across the screen. On a sheet of graph paper, however it works great, and it comes with a DIN A5 sheet of well to reach the entire screen. Another option is to shut enforce the pointer speed greatly in the Windows Control Panel, and then just to work on at least A4 surface. (Not purchased at Amazon, but Conrad)
