FYI I have installed Linux Mint. In Windows 7 and later some can what I write now look different already.
First the good features:
- Very low external dimensions, comparable to an Ultrabook, but not with a Macbook Air
- Relatively easy, my former EEPC Asus was heavier
- For Internet applications (Flash, HD video at Youtube, Java) the notebook is fast enough
- Office is also not a problem
- To program the box is also fast enough, and it concerns only small projects in C.
- Battery lasts a whopping 4 hours, during which I have not yet set the optimal energy management. As determined is more.
- USB 3 has fortunately also. Is a must have for> 1 TB hard drives
- Very quiet operation. Even at full capacity you can hear only a quiet fan.
- Speakers are loud enough in my opinion. About a clean sound you need not talk there.
Now for the bad properties:
- Display is glare / mirrors
- Display resolution is too low for some applications easy
- Keyboard is in the right pane greatly the keystroke gradually bends noticeable and disturbing. Void?
- Touchpad is a disaster (external mouse or keyboard Kombies are mandatory)
- Permanently installed battery
- CPU is weak in the chest when it comes to raw computing power.
- LED's for HDD etc are arranged unfavorably. If you sit in front of it you can not see this.
That's as far as the first things that occur to me about this product.
If you only need a little Internet, office and multimedia is well served with this notebook.
The bad qualities could probably reach one or the other as a KO criterion.
Since it's my third PC I can access some extras without.
Conclusion: I would buy the notebook. Everyone else should decide according to its own needs.
