Actually, I originally wanted a stand where the Katana is perpendicular, what would I actually liked it better. Apparently, there are only the usual rickety plywood plug-in systems (except on original Japanese sites, where you will but put a bit more on the table), which I was able to convince me, always are rickety affairs. Working with glue is repugnant to me, and I was hoping for a solution with screws ... and lo and behold, the stand here is top notch. The side panels are fastened next to wood studs with two screws which completely disappear under the decorative brass-colored iris. The whole does not shake, the paint shines beautifully and is made clean, the holder is where the sword to rest and the feet are covered with felt. Who has only a single Katana and does not want to establish soon a second, is well advised with this stand.
