Presentation of a Chromebook

I would like to clarify that I did not buy this product on Amazon.com but its cousin the Samsung Chromebook on Amazon.co.uk
I wanted to publish this comment here because I know that many people will be attracted to this camera for its attractive price.

Take heed! This is not a computer with Microsoft Windows, but Google Chrome OS.

This system is very different from a regular computer. It is very effective and convenient but be sure that it will meet your personal needs.

Know that ChromeOS does not install software. Thus, you can not install Skype, Microsoft Office or even Steam. This system operates exclusively on the Internet, so you will need to use a Google Account and all the benefits it brings but also the limitations. You have to work on Google Drive or Microsoft Skydrive and most of your file storage will be done online. (However the computer has 320GB disk space so you can store a lot of files above).

You should also remember that despite the progress made by Google to allow editing files offline, most of the time it will ask to have available an internet connection.

In summary, I highly recommend this machine to all users aware and knowing what they are buying, if you are in doubt, ask first! It could be that either the computer of your dreams, or a mess of 250

PS: I'm very satisfied with my Chromebook being a full time student but check before!
