I've been using for about 1.5 years, the Samsung 840 Basic 250 GB as an internal Windows 7 64 bit system board. Now I have gained this plate and the Crucial MX200. Comparison of these two boards is likely to astound. Since I use the Samsung as an internal system disk and the two Crucial as external disks (each connected with the Icy Box USB 3.0), it would be a comparison with apples and pears. Therefore, I will confine myself to the comparison between the two Crucial plates as external USB drives. My main project is the digitization of my little Bluray collection on hard drives. And I also occasionally copy between the plates back and forth. These things I have tested with the two panels using a 4.8 GB movie file. This hard drive copied the file in 31.56 seconds, while the Crucial MX200 (supposedly the better record) 53 seconds needed. Also interesting to note: after checking with CrystalDiskInfo this hard drive reaches a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius, while the MX200 47 degrees Celsius achieved! Therefore very clear recommendation for this BX100. 1. effective 2. quick 3. Energy-saving
