Why LED?
Had previously 9Watt GU10 energy saving lamps in use, unfortunately there is this actually not to buy in the form of candles. Except for Pocco for 5 each and they are defective after 2-16 weeks! Warranty does not register! Therefore we were looking for a free alternative and also mercury. LED I had until now always negative in memory no matter where I was this weak light performance and multi-point lighting is anything but nice and good for maybe a reading lamp but not the kitchen / living room.
After searching and studying what to look out for me have this very well liked here in the datasheet.
1. Beam Angle 120 degrees
2. brightness of 510lm or 75Watt bulb (6 wattage)
3. Warm white
4. Long service life + 5 years warranty
After installation:
1. Beam is good, almost like halogen lamps
2. Brightness, absolute madness thinking here will reach the light bulbs 75Watt power. The kitchen is so bright (4Stück installed), as if it were day. For Morgenmuffel absolutely deadly.
3. Warm white ... Hm ... So the Orangliche incandescent light it is not in any case absolutely. However, not cold white. It is white with a slight "warm tone". We find it enjoyable, great for the kitchen or for work. But most like this pleasant light bulbs just in the living room, because the lamp can not score.
4. We'll see what the life speaks. Installed are 4St. Kitchen, 4pcs. Living and 2pcs. Bedroom.
+ Brightness
+ Beam
+ Absolutely no noise at all 10 lamps
+ Do not be so hot at the base as energy-saving lamps
+ Price
+ Optics (have our glass dismantled so our lamps serve as a 0815 halogen spotlight, the LED do not look that bad from)
- No light bulbs but rather white with a touch of "bulb"
- We had to have low ceilings, the lamps are turned so that it is avoided to be illuminated directly. Typical LED you are after "blind". So turning it into a corner beam which is hardly "enter".
