previously bought 2x 2 each, to build an iSCSI StarWind Server. The HDD frames are silver-plated, solid enough for the screw plastic rails, which led quite well slide into the backplane and snap cleanly. In one of the four very nice easy removable fan had on the back after reinstalling contact problems (Fan Fail Alarm), after x-fold snap on and off we went then.

The alarm sound is unmistakably loud (continuous tone) and the front panel via "pen Piekse hole" quttierbar.

In order to build in as many hard drives well ventilated cost in a confined space that is the "Best Value" variant. Clearly, there is * MUCH * superior processed backplanes with a lot more features, but the cost also SIGNIFICANTLY * * more.

One star deduction for the underground documentation that comes with all the same in printed form (booklet), otherwise I would have awarded 5 stars: quality is really not fully in accordance with OK.
