File system read rate write rate
exFAT 26,1MByte / s 7,31Mbyte / s
NTFS 26,0Mbyte / s 6,92Mbyte / s
Tested:
Windows 7 64bit
For those who like me, want to do with your stick a little more:
The stick has a SMI chipset.
Sounds first not terribly exciting, but with the right tool, a CD-ROM can be so for example, create and delete partitions as desired.
Ie you determine which CD-ROM to be image (ISO file) "fired" on the stick and I do not mean just a bootable flash drive as it is, for example, created by the countless live CD tools. The stick emulates a "real" USB CD-ROM drive. It is thus, for example, also bootable which can not boot from USB flash drives of PCs.
Furthermore, for example, a "private" partition can be created which is then-unfortunately only displayed with the tool and the correct password. (How safe is I do not know, but I am assuming that the password is only necessary to the "Show Now the private partition to command" trigger in the tool.
The tool is called: SMI_UFD_Utility and can be downloaded from this page as: [...]
