I bought the battery for my CX520VE. At the offered price of the battery is really top. The battery can be charged easily in the camcorder and the remaining time display of the battery works without problems. After completion of charging, the camcorder displays a period of about 4 1/2 hours. Unfortunately, the camcorder already went out to a little over 2 hours. The remaining time display of the battery will decrease from full charge from the real time. After about an hour, however, the time is running faster and faster. What I was a little disappointed that the battery unfortunately unable clean shut down the camcorder when it has no power, but the camcorder simply goes without recording to finish clean or close the lens. Since this is in the CX520 to a flash memory camcorder could still be easily read the videos, so I will keep the battery also like. For hard disk camcorders, however I'm not so sure that the battery is the best choice. When the price but you can also simply keep the remaining time display in the eye and then even off time. Then it's a super battery from which you also can buy just 2 to achieve the same performance of the original battery.
